The Parts List

The following are scans of the receipts from the parts I ordered to make this machine like new again. Like I said on the links page, most came from Midwest Action Cycle and Tim's.

There's also a few m ore parts that I purchased that I'm not sure where the slips are. They are:

From Chuck Ewing:

bullet

A repainted tail peice- $260.00

bullet

A repainted front fender- $150.00

bullet

Crash Bars- $90.00

bullet

Rebuilt original rear shocks- $120.00

bullet

Gas Tank Badges- $40.00 each

From Charles Weidman:

bullet

Valve spring set w/buckets & shims- $70.00

From Ken Watson:

bullet

Carb pilot screw "o-rings"

bullet

Xenon headlight bulb

bullet

Lots of advice!

From others:

bullet

Set of front & rear wheels- $100.00

bullet

Progressive front springs- $50.00

bullet

Oil pump- $15.00

bullet

Tires from Chaparral- $130.00

If you do the math, You'll see that the entire project cost about $4485.54, not including the price paid for the bike!

Now, you may think it's CRAZY to dump that kind of money into a 22 year old bike, but I don't (obviously)! First, it's a collectible that may never depreciate. Second, I have a bike that's as close to new as possible. The engine is fresh, the brakes, electrics, paint, etc look and work like new. It should show very well, and it runs great. Definitely a head turner. I'm actually surprised by the amount of folks that remember this bike!. And the sound...........................................

Hope this list is helpful.
